Regional Fleet Security Advisor

This job is a Regional Fleet Security Advisor role. Its purpose is to investigate, prevent, and mitigate negative acts (vandalism, aggressive behavior, minor collisions) against the company's autonomous vehicles. - Sworn law enforcement status with 15+ years of experience (ideally a Captain or Lieutenant. A Sergeant would be considered if they met all other requirements). - A robust national network is essential. Validation includes: Graduating from the FBI Academy (preferred) or demonstrating network reach, such as having over 1,000 LinkedIn connections, or being part of specialized national training/teams (e.g., Bomb Squad). - Bachelor’s degree in: Public Safety, Transportation, Emergency Management, OR Specialized certification in traffic safety or traffic investigations. - Incident Command System (ICS): Certification is desired, as it shows they've gone beyond the baseline of standard police operations in disaster/incident management.

Required Skills

- Local traffic collision investigation expertise, including serious injury and fatal incidents - Traffic enforcement knowledge and application of traffic safety principles - Incident command and emergency response coordination (ICS / NIMS) - Vehicle recovery program development and execution - Public safety agency coordination (law enforcement, fire, EMS) - First responder training and briefing delivery - Field investigation monitoring and documentation - Investigative reporting and evidence packaging - Cross-functional collaboration with legal, security, and safety teams - Policy and procedure review for legal and regulatory compliance - Independent decision-making in dynamic, fast-paced environments - Clear, professional written and verbal communication
