Valuation & Modeling Expert

Type: Part-time

Pay Range: $140–$240 (based on seniority)

Location: Remote (Canada, US, and Europe only)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Valuation & Modeling Expert to support high-impact investment and strategic decisions. This role focuses on advanced financial modeling, valuation, and transaction analysis for complex deals in a fast-paced, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

Build and refine valuation models (DCF, comps, precedent transactions).

Develop integrated financial models, including 3-statement and cash flow forecasts.

Create deal models (LBO, merger, accretion/dilution) to assess transaction impact.

Design industry-specific and bespoke models (e.g., NAV, sale-leaseback, carve-outs).

Conduct in-depth due diligence and unit economics analysis.

Communicate insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, corporate development, or strategic finance at top-tier firms.

Strong expertise in valuation methodologies and financial modeling.

Hands-on experience with deal and transaction modeling.

Ability to manage complex analyses independently in a remote setting.

Excellent communication skills and advanced Excel proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience across both investment banking and buy-side roles.

Background in complex transaction structuring (spin-offs, carve-outs, IP licensing).

MBA or graduate degree in finance, economics, or related field.
