Job Description:
As a Workday Financial Analyst, you will support and enhance Workday Financials with a strong focus on Accounting Center configuration, Prism Analytics reporting, and revenue process automation. This role requires a blend of technical Workday expertise and solid accounting knowledge, with the ability to clearly articulate the business and financial rationale behind system configurations. You will play a key role in large-scale automation initiatives and enterprise data integration efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Workday Accounting Center Configuration: Configure, optimize, and support Workday Accounting Center to enable accurate, scalable, and automated financial processing.
• Prism Analytics Reporting: Design, develop, and maintain Prism Analytics reports and dashboards to support financial analysis, reporting, and decision-making.
• Revenue Automation Initiatives: Support enterprise-wide automation efforts, with a goal of automating up to 98% of revenue processes by year-end.
• Financial Process Analysis: Analyze end-to-end accounting and financial processes, ensuring system configurations align with accounting principles and business requirements.
• Enterprise Data Integration: Support the integration of enterprise financial data, including exposure to analytics or data platforms such as Palantir, within a broader enterprise architecture framework.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with finance, accounting, and technical teams to translate business requirements into effective Workday Financial solutions.
• Continuous Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and automation across Workday Financials and related reporting solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Strong hands-on experience with Workday Accounting Center configuration and optimization
• Experience with Prism Analytics, including reporting and data analysis
• Solid understanding of finance and accounting processes, with the ability to explain the “why” behind system design decisions
• Experience supporting or delivering automation initiatives, particularly within revenue processes
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
Nice to Have:
• Exposure to enterprise data platforms or analytics tools such as Palantir
• Experience working within enterprise architecture frameworks
• Background supporting large, complex Workday Financial implementations
