Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner needed for Washington County!

Schedule consists of 6 hours per week to assist in medication management and urgent intervention. Join the team as an independent contractor to help provide for the inmates of Washington County.

On-call 24/7 stipend of $250.00/week (rarely called)

Base hourly rate of $85/hour

Flexible Schedule: Generally 1 day/week (it can be on a weekend!)

Coverage by MedTrust malpractice insurance

Key Responsibilities

Serve in a crisis, emergency/urgent intervention and medication management for the patients of Washington County Sheriff's office jail.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Valid, unencumbered Physician’s Assistant or Nurse Practitioners license in the state of TX

Valid BLS – Must be Red Cross or American Heart Association

Valid DEA

Current PPD, QuantiFERON, or CXR

Must have your own supervising physician
