Reports to: Operations Manager

Position type: Full Time, 35+ hours per week

Starting Pay: $17.00/hour + tips

Overview of responsibilities:

Ensure customer satisfaction and good public relations through the safe and efficient uses of resources and training across the team.

Purchases and manages all store inventory.

Handles all aspects of staff management, including hiring, training, scheduling, disciplinary actions and accurate record keeping.

Monitors staff to maintain consistent product and customer service quality.

Oversees daily administrative and operational tasks, including cash handling.

Oversees sanitation and safety throughout the cafe.

Qualifications:

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum two years retail experience, preferably with a specialty coffee store.

Assistant management in a specialty store or food establishment preferred.

Previous ServSafe Food Manager certification preferred.

Previous First Aid & CPR certification preferred.

Must have a valid drivers license & access to reliable transportation.

Required skills:

Register and cash handling experience. Previous experience with Square Register and/or Square for Restaurants preferred.

Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Must be able to work overtime, including weekends, evenings and holidays as needed.

Well-organized, detail-oriented and able to multitask.

Must have effective problem solving/decision making skills.

This position requires frequent standing and use of hands and arms.

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and frequently bend and twist from the waist.

Must be able to safely handle food, hot beverages, and work with sharp objects.

Must have excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
