Description :

BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automation Engineering.

Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in an industrial environment, combining mechanical design activities and CATIA CAA automation development.

Mandatory hands-on expertise in CATIA automation using CAA, with proven experience supporting real design workflows.

Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of mechanical design and its translation into robust CATIA automation solutions.

Job Description Details :

Develop and maintain CATIA automation tools using CAA to support and enhance mechanical design activities.

Work directly on design-related automation, ensuring tools are fully aligned with design intent, engineering rules, and industrial constraints.

Create custom CATIA commands, features, and automation tools to streamline CAD workflows.

Automate layout checks and feasibility reviews, including common part features, geometric validations, and design rule checks.

Access and work across multiple CATIA workbenches to develop dedicated automation solutions.

Collaborate closely with mechanical and design engineers to understand their daily constraints and translate them into efficient automation tools.

Support CATIA V5, V6, and 3DEXPERIENCE environments.

Ensure integration with PLM systems to maintain data consistency and lifecycle management.

Create and maintain clear technical documentation for all developed automation tools.

Provide support and guidance to end users on automation usage and best practices.

Design-oriented and solution-driven

Must Have:

Minimum 5 years of experience in CATIA CAA automation

Hands-on experience in mechanical design (not automation-only profiles)

Strong experience with CATIA V5 / V6 / 3DEXPERIENCE

Mandatory expertise in CAA

Experience developing custom CATIA commands and features

Experience working in an industrial environment

Ability to translate design intent into robust automation solutions

Good to Have:

Experience with PLM systems (ENOVIA / 3DEXPERIENCE or equivalent)

Experience automating design checks and feasibility reviews

Experience supporting or mentoring design engineers

Experience working in large-scale CAD environments

Exposure to multiple CATIA workbenches and complex assemblies
