Little Sprouts Early Child Care & Education 1479 Morse Rd Columbus, Ohio 43229 Head Start Assistant Teacher Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Required Qualification: CDA REQUIRED (Child Development Associate) or an Early Childhood Education Certificate Qualifications- CDA REQUIRED or Early Childhood Education Certificate- Reliable transportation is required- Creative with science projects, art, and classroom decorations- Able to help with writing, reading, and circle time- Can create lesson plans using Teaching Strategies GOLD- Practices active supervision at all times (including playground and transitions)- Accepts direction and delegation from lead teacher- Strong attendance and punctuality- Committed to kindergarten readiness for all children Responsibilities- Support lead teacher with daily routines and activities- Engage children in hands-on art, science, writing, and literacy projects- Assist with or create TSG-based lesson plans- Lead or help with circle time and small group activities- Maintain active supervision at all times (indoors/outdoors)- Assist with children's hygiene needs- Help decorate and organize the classroom- Communicate professionally with families and coworkers Important – Please Read Before Applying We are looking for someone who:- Has a CDA or Early Childhood Education certificate- Has reliable transportation- Can work 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM- Has strong attendance- Can maintain active supervision- Supports kindergarten readiness (reading, writing, early learning
