Join a high-volume, dynamic Emergency Medicine team near Pledger, TX, offering a locum tenens position for experienced Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). This role is based in a Level II Trauma Center and provides comprehensive multi-specialty support.

Position Highlights: Start Date: February 1, 2025 Shift Schedule: Monday?Wednesday: 6 a.m 4 p.m., 8 a.m 6 p.m., 12 p.m 10 p.m., 2 p.m 12 a.m., 4 p.m 2 a.m., 8 p.m 6 a.m.

Thursday?Sunday: 6 a.m 4 p.m., 8 a.m 6 p.m., 2 p.m 12 a.m., 4 p.m 2 a.m., 8 p.m 6 a.m.

Emergency Privileges: Available Credentialing Requirements: Case logs for requested privileges, standard Emergency Medicine (EM) privileges.

Orientation: One orientation shift and two shadow shifts for providers familiar with Meditech.

Requirements: Certification: ABEM-prepared/certified, ACLS, PALS, ATLS certifications required.

Experience: Previous high-volume experience in a Level II trauma center.

Procedures: Must be proficient in standard EM procedures.

Patient Volume: Approximately 70,000 annual visits, with 25% admitted.

Facility Overview: Trauma Level: II, with 24/7 on-site trauma surgeons.

Specializations: Comprehensive Stroke Center and Primary Chest Pain Center.

Bed Count: 423 hospital beds, 49 ED beds.

Support Staff: Comprehensive 24/7 multi-specialty and consultant support.
