• 2+ Years experience in below
• Experience in Batch scheduling tools like Opcon, Unix /shell scripting and SQL
• Monitor, support, and troubleshoot scheduled batch jobs using enterprise-level job scheduling tool OpCon.
• Provide production support for batch processes running in a 24x7 environment, including incident management, issue resolution, and coordination with development and maintenance teams.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions for recurring job failures or performance issues.
• Experience and knowledge in Integrated Eligibility systems batch framework
• Execute ad-hoc and scheduled jobs/scripts in UNIX/Linux environments and monitor system logs, services, and performance metrics.
• Write, modify, and debug basic UNIX/Linux shell scripts and SQL queries to support operational activities and report generation.
• Manage shift-based responsibilities, rotating between the following shifts:
• Shift 1: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM CST
• Shift 2: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM CST
• Shift 3: 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM CST
• Provide on-call and weekend support for batch operations, critical processes, month-end/year-end activities, releases, and maintenance windows.
• Ensure timely execution of high-priority and SLA-bound processes, escalating issues when necessary.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and database teams to ensure batch operations meet business requirements.
• Participate in change management processes, validations, and post-release validations for batch-related changes.
• Maintain documentation for batch jobs, troubleshooting guides, shift handovers, and standard operating procedures.
