We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Kitchen Manager to support daily kitchen operations and help lead our back-of-house team. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone looking to grow into a Kitchen Manager position as new locations open.
Assistant Kitchen Manager Responsibilities
Assist the Kitchen Manager with daily kitchen operations
Lead, train, and support kitchen staff
Ensure food quality, consistency, and proper presentation
Maintain food safety, sanitation, and health department standards
Assist with scheduling, inventory, ordering, and receiving deliveries
Help manage opening and closing kitchen procedures
Step in for the Kitchen Manager as neededAssistant Kitchen Manager Qualifications
Prior kitchen experience required; leadership experience for 2+ years
Strong communication and team-leadership skills
Knowledge of food safety standards (ServSafe preferred)
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Spanish speaking is a plus
Desire to grow into a Kitchen Manager role with future openings
