Warehouse Associate

Job Description

Salary: $15 - $17

Position Purpose:

Perform general warehouse tasks including but not limited to picking, packing, handling, product put-away, pre-kitting, unloading, cleaning, etc. based on the volume and type of work available and within theefficiencyexpectations of the specified work.

Responsibilities:

Use handheld scanners to pickand fill orders from stock.

Utilize Warehouse Management System to enter order details and ship orders.

Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks,deliveryvehicles, or containers by handor with equipment.

Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves and pallets.

Stock shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables withproduct.

Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.

Organize and wrap productsandpallets.

Measure,weigh, and count products and materials.

Handle delicate and sensitive products withcare, andreport damage or missing inventory to supervisors.

Ensure the workspace is free of debris and safety hazards.

Be attentive and practice the guidelines of warehouse safety.

Take notice of any issues that mightbe slowingdown workflowandreportit to supervisors.

Assistin various areas of the warehouse as needed.

Nature and Scope:

Train with Team Leads and experienced associates.

Maintain a basic understanding of Warehouse Management System and handheld scanners.

Work in multiple departments within the warehouse as needed.

Required Skills and Experience:

Previouswarehouse experience preferred.

Dependable attendance.

Successful communication.

Environment:

Prolonged periods ofstanding and moving while carrying or pushing product and equipment.

This position will bedonein a heated warehouse.

Mustbe able tolift upto50poundsoften.
