Job Description
The Factory Supervisor oversees daily production operations while remaining actively involved on the shop floor. This is a true player/coach role, with approximately 50% hands-on production work and 50% team leadership. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role has a visible impact on quality, efficiency, and delivery performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily production across CNC machining, press brake, laser cutting, welding, and assembly
Work hands-on with setups, troubleshooting, and process improvements
Coach, train, and mentor production staff while promoting safety and quality
Translate production goals into actionable daily plans
Manage scheduling and workflow using ERP systems
Collaborate with engineering on prototypes and new product launches
Support maintenance activities and coordinate vendor support as needed
Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in machining, fabrication, or manufacturing
Previous leadership or supervisory experience
Strong CNC machining experience (Haas preferred) and press brake operation
Familiarity with laser cutting and welding processes
Experience using ERP or production scheduling systems
Hands-on, mechanically inclined leader with strong problem-solving skills
