Friday: 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM

Saturday & Sunday: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Schedule Type: Weekend Shifts

Job Duration: 13 Weeks

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to support imaging services within a large acute care hospital environment. This role involves performing diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and workflow efficiency.

Travelers must be flexible and willing to provide lead coverage when operationally required.Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with established protocols

Ensure patient safety, proper positioning, and image quality

Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and workflow

Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff

Provide general workflow oversight when scheduled as acting lead technologist

Serve as a point of contact during shifts in the absence of a supervisor or designated lead

Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and departmental policies

Important: Travelers may be scheduled to function in a lead role as needed. Candidates unwilling to provide lead coverage should not be submitted.Requirements

Active NY State X-Ray Technologist license

ARRT (R) certification

Ability to work independently and support department operations

Willingness to provide lead coverage when required

First-time travelers accepted

Local candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facilityFacility Overview (Non-Identifying)
