The Role
You will operate state-of-the-art printing presses to deliver high-quality printing and finishing services for film, paper, and specialty materials. Working alongside 160 employee-owners in a collaborative environment, you'll monitor production quality, troubleshoot equipment issues, and participate in our comprehensive training program while serving essential markets including food, consumer goods, industrial, and healthcare.
Schedule: Work only 15 days per month with our unique 2-2-3 schedule
Work: Monday & Tuesday – Off: Wednesday & Thursday – Work: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday
Off: Monday & Tuesday – Work: Wednesday & Thursday – Off: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday
12-hour static shifts (Nights - 6:00pm – 6:00am) (Days - 6:00am - 6:00pm)
What You'll Do
Safelyoperatethegammawinder, duplex winder and bag machineperforminga variety of tasks
Rewinding, trimming and slitting rolls
Fixing profile issues on finished goods
Pack skids using corner boards, slip sheets,headersand proper taping
Maintain a clean, organized, “set in order” and “shine” environment in the work areas
Assistother areas of productionwith tasks when needs demand
Open stockand cut cores
Use forklift and clamp truck to move material throughout the plant
Other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring
Essential Qualifications:
Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds
Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools
Strong communication skills and positive attitude
Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
Preferred Qualifications:
Basic computer skills including email, data entry,operatingwithin multiple systems
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on needs of the business including overtime hours
Basic computer knowledge
Previous manufacturing experience
Compensation & Benefits
Starting Salary:
Wages ranging from $21.00 - $28.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
