QA Engineer with Accounting Experience

Our client is a global music and entertainment conglomerate headquartered in the US, with offices in over 60 countries.

The company is undergoing a large-scale digital transformation focused on modernizing its financial operations, consolidating data, and optimizing processes.

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to support the enhancement of internal financial systems and reporting tools for a global music and entertainment leader.

In this role, you will work with a growing team to ensure the quality, stability, and accuracy of financial data flows and web interfaces.

You will be responsible for analyzing requirements, designing and executing test cases, validating data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable features and improvements within a legacy-plus-new-development environment.

* Analyze and clarify requirements and documentation * Create and support test cases, checklists, and test documentation * Perform manual testing of APIs, data flows, and web interfaces * Perform data quality testing, excel analysis * Participate in exploratory and regression testing * Log defects clearly and track them through resolution * Collaborate closely with developers, QA peers, analysts, and DevOps engineers * Take part in regular releases and team ceremonies * 3+ years of experience in software testing * Financial/Accounting background * Good understanding of QA methodologies, types of testing, and SDLC * Hands-on experience with client-server systems * Familiarity with tools like Jira, TestRail (or equivalents) * Strong communication and problem-solving skills * Experience with relational databases * Experience with T-accounts * Experience with SAP or 1С * Understanding of CI/CD and cloud environments
