Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking an AI Engineer to work with a top company in the Columbus, OH area. This is a full-time, fully onsite opportunity offering a stable schedule and comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate will design, develop, and deploy secure, innovative AI solutions leveraging generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and modern cloud platforms. This role requires a strong foundation in AI/ML engineering, software development best practices, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI solutions integrated with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, ensuring scalability and security

• Build and optimize end-to-end AI/ML pipelines and workflows for training, fine-tuning, and deploying models

• Fine-tune foundation models and/or train custom LLMs and integrate them into enterprise applications and systems

• Develop generative AI solutions using LLMs and related frameworks

• Apply secure-by-design principles and modern software development practices

• Evaluate AI/ML pipelines, model performance, generative AI capabilities, and code quality, iterating for continuous improvement

• Implement AI engineering and MLOps best practices, including containerization, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and lifecycle management

• Create clear technical documentation and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Provide mentorship, guidance, and peer training to support team growth and knowledge sharing

• Participate in research initiatives, pilot programs, and innovation sprints to explore and advance AI capabilities

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field with 3+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 1+ year of AI/ML-focused experience

• Demonstrated experience using cloud-based AI/ML services and tools in Azure and/or AWS environments

• Hands-on experience with generative AI frameworks such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face, and agent frameworks like LangChain or Semantic Kernel

• Proficiency in Python and AI/ML libraries including TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and DevOps/MLOps practices

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Proven track record designing AI/ML pipelines and deploying AI solutions into production environments

• Experience with LLM fine-tuning, generative AI, and secure software development

• Familiarity with DevOps and MLOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD

• Knowledge of cloud platforms including Azure and AWS; exposure to Power Platform or Microsoft Copilot is a plus

• Strong communication skills with the ability to advocate for projects and technical initiatives
