We’re looking for a Downstream Operations Production Lead who thrives in a high-volume environment and leads through service, respect, and continuous improvement. In this role, you’ll coordinate a second-shift finishing area, champion safety, and drive predictable, efficient output. Why This Role Matters

Ripon, WI

Second shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 pm to 1:00 am

Occasional Friday overtime from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm What You’ll Do

Maintain current knowledge of safety regulations; implement and enforce required procedures.

Ensure appropriate PPE is available and used correctly (bump caps, gloves, eye protection).

Promote ergonomic practices such as adjustable workstations, proper seating, and regular breaks.

Set annual goals aligned to operating metrics; track and communicate progress.

Interface with technical staff to secure resources and resolve issues quickly.

Continuously improve processes; reduce inventories and work-in-progress.

Serve as first contact for employee relations concerns; work with Union Stewards on contract and discipline matters.

Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Servant leadership orientation and a strong record of leading by example.

1–3 years in fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing preferred.

Previous manufacturing supervision preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing Engineering, or Operations preferred.

Internship/co-op/professional experience considered relevant. Core Skills

Safety leadership: encourage reporting without retaliation; conduct audits; correct non-compliance promptly.

Coaching and mentoring within a team environment; holds others accountable to standards.

Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Strong problem-solving mindset; promotes proactive, solution-oriented thinking.

Preferred exposure to process control, production scheduling, Kaizen, Kanban, and Lean. Physical Requirements

Ability to stoop, bend, stand for extended periods, demonstrate manual dexterity, and lift up to 50 lbs without assistance. How You’ll Grow
