Chiropractic Exercise Rehab Therapist

Our busy Downers Grove chiropractic clinic has a full-time opening for an experienced personal trainer or exercise therapist to be our Rehab Patient Coordinator. Patient shift hours are M, W from 7:45AM - 7PM with a 60-minute uncompensated lunch break, Fridays from 7:45AM - 6PM with an uncompensated 60-minute lunch break, and Tuesdays and Saturdays from 7:45AM - 12Noon (A total of 38+ hours a week.) Thursdays are off.

You will be a key player in coordinating and implementing our cutting-edge and high-tech muscular/skeletal rehab treatment programs, assisting patients of all ages rehabilitate from injuries or dysfunction as they gain strength and improved balance. Traditional rehab exercises will be prescribed/demonstrated for patients. You will also be trained with our technology rehab equipment, including Shockwave, CryoTherapy, Decompression and MLS Laser Therapy, to provide patients with expanded and extensive cutting-edge therapies and recovery potential related to movement, mobility, strength, balance, and increased neural pathways.

Duties include:

Working with one to three patients at a time, instructing and overseeing exercise therapy, balance programs and high-tech programs

Maintaining notes on patient progress in our EMR system

Communicating/workforce needs with doctors and other team members regarding patient protocols and progress

Expanding on protocols

Creating outreach material to include social media content

Networking/outreach with aligned facilities in the areaQualifications:

Qualities we seek:

Relevant experience with personal training or exercise rehab therapy (work in a chiropractic setting is a plus)
