As Controller, you'll lead the accounting function and play a critical role in financial strategy, compliance, and operational excellence. This is an opportunity to guide a high-growth GovCon organization through complex government contracting requirements while supporting projects that matter on a national scale.

What You'll Do

• Oversee all accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, payroll, and cost accounting

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting

• Ensure GAAP compliance and proper revenue recognition for government contracts (T&M, CPFF, FFP)

• Maintain and monitor indirect cost rates; oversee Incurred Cost Submissions and DCAA compliance

• Lead audit preparation, tax filings, and internal controls

• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

• Drive ERP optimization and process improvements across finance operations

• Mentor and develop accounting team members

What You Bring

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred)

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role

• Deep knowledge of GAAP, FAR/CAS, and GovCon compliance

• Experience with ERP systems (Navision/Business Central preferred) and advanced Excel skills

• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities

• Prior experience in aerospace, defense, or government contracting environments
