Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Systems Test Engineer with a strong background in LabVIEW to lead our testing efforts for next-generation test platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts and ensuring high-quality standards for our electronic instrumentation and systems.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement test plans, procedures, and automated test scripts using LabVIEW and TestStand.

Collaborate with software and hardware engineers to define testing requirements and ensure comprehensive coverage.

Utilize scripting languages such as C# and Python for automation and test development.

Manage version control and build automation processes to streamline testing workflows.

Track and report bugs using bug tracking systems, ensuring timely resolution and communication with stakeholders.

Engage in Test Driven Development (TDD) practices to enhance software reliability and performance.

Conduct network testing protocols utilizing TCP, UDP, and multicast.

Integrate and validate instrument drivers for power supplies, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior testing engineers.

Maintain and enhance next-generation test platforms to improve testing efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems testing with a focus on LabVIEW and TestStand.

Strong programming skills in C# and Python.

Experience with version control systems and build automation tools.

Familiarity with test automation frameworks and methodologies.

Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and agile testing practices.

Knowledge of networking protocols including TCP, UDP, and multicast.

Hands-on experience with electronic instrumentation such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance from the Department of Defense (DoD).

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
