Warehouse Associate

Job Description

A Warehouse Associate handles inventory logistics, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders, while maintaining a clean, safe environment and accurate records using equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts. Key duties involve checking shipments for damage, updating inventory systems, organizing stock, preparing goods for dispatch, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving & Storing: Unload deliveries, inspect items, verify against orders, and store them in designated locations.

Inventory Management: Conduct cycle counts, update stock levels, and maintain accurate records using WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).

Order Fulfillment: Pick items for orders, pack them securely, label them correctly, and prepare them for shipment.

Equipment Operation: Safely use forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks as needed.

Warehouse Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe, following all safety guidelines.

Documentation: Record shipment details and update logistics software.

Essential Skills & Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.

Physical stamina for lifting and standing.

Ability to work in a team.

Experience with inventory software and forklift certification
