Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Project Manager to lead and oversee electrical projects from concept to completion. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have experience managing electrical installations, coordinating with electricians and contractors, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The position is for Lyons Electric, a subsidiary company of Potawatomi Ventures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Plan and define the scope of electrical projects, including budgeting and scheduling.
Coordinate with electricians, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely execution.
Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and regulatory standards.
Monitor project progress and adjust resources and priorities as needed.
Communicate with clients and stakeholders to manage expectations and provide updates.
Prepare project documentation and maintain accurate records.
Identify risks and develop contingency plans.
5+ years of experience in electrical project management
Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and local building codes
Proficiency in project manager tools (i.e. MS Project, SharePoint, Agora)
PMP or equivalent certification preferred
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Education
High School Diploma or GED required; Certification from respected electrical program. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
