Location: OH – Hybrid

Average Market Salary (2026): $80,000-$100,000 DOE

Role Overview

As the Hybrid Cyber Security & IT Manager, you will lead the strategic protection and operational management of our digital infrastructure. This dual-focus role requires managing traditional IT operations while spearheading cloud-native security initiatives. You will serve as a technical leader, optimizing our security posture through automated workflows and modern RMM/PSA tools like Kaseya 365.

Core Responsibilities

Security Governance & Leadership: Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, incident response plans, and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, NIST, ISO 27001).

AWS Security Management: Architect and maintain secure cloud environments using AWS IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudTrail, and WAF.

Endpoint & Infrastructure Operations: Oversee the deployment and health of all endpoints, servers, and networks using Kaseya 365 (RMM, EDR, and Backup) to automate patching and threat remediation.

Incident Response: Lead threat-hunting efforts and manage the response to security breaches, utilizing both manual forensics and automated tools.

Hybrid Infrastructure Management: Provide L2/L3 escalation support for on-premises and cloud systems, ensuring 99.9% availability.

User Resilience: Manage dark web monitoring and security awareness training (e.g., BullPhish ID) to minimize human-centric risks.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years in IT security with at least 2 years of hands-on experience securing AWS workloads.

AWS Certification: Must hold AWS Certified Security – Specialty or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.

Security Certification: One of the following is required: CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of networking (VPC, VPN, Subnetting), automation (Python or Bash), and identity management.

Preferred Skills

Kaseya 365 Experience: Prior experience managing the Kaseya 365 suite (including IT Glue, Datto EDR, and Spanning Backup) is highly desirable.

Automation: Proven ability to create automated ticket remediation and documentation workflows.

Compliance: Experience managing audits and regulatory reporting for highly regulated industries.
