Job Description
The Client Relations Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day client experience for veterans pursuing VA disability compensation claims. This role serves as the primary liaison between the client and the legal team, ensuring clients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout the claims process. The Client Relations Manager focuses on communication, document coordination, and case progress tracking, while attorneys focus on legal strategy and advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Communication & Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout their VA disability claim.
Provide routine updates, set expectations, and proactively communicate next steps.
Explain the VA claims process, timelines, and required documentation in a clear, client-friendly manner.
Build trust with clients by responding promptly, professionally, and compassionately to questions or concerns.
Case Progress Coordination & Tracking:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case information in Prevail (case management software).
Monitor case milestones, deadlines, and development stages to ensure timely progression.
Track VA status updates and assist with routine VA correspondence and requests.
Document & Evidence Coordination:
Request, collect, and organize medical records from VA and private healthcare providers.
Assist clients with completing and returning required VA forms (e.g., 21-4142, 21-8940, Intent to File, Statements in Support).
Ensure all documentation is complete and properly routed to the legal team for review and submission.
Internal Team Collaboration:
Work closely with attorneys to ensure files are procedurally ready for legal review, filing, or appeal.
Coordinate with paralegals to obtain missing records or supplemental evidence.
Schedule client calls, attorney consultations, and follow-ups as needed.Company Description
