Description

Accurately explain and sell products to customers

Prepare and bottle fragrances accurately according to written formulas and batch instructions.

Label, package, and organize finished products, samples, and custom blends.

Assist customers during in-person sales, pop-ups, and events, providing guidance through custom scent creation.

Explain fragrance notes, families, concentrations, and longevity clearly to customers.

Track and maintain inventory of bottles, oils, alcohol, and packaging materials; report shortages or discrepancies promptly.

Set up and break down displays, equipment, and inventory for events efficiently and safely.

Follow all safety, hygiene, and handling procedures for fragrance materials, including alcohol-based products and glass containers.

Monitor supplies and finished products to prevent loss, damage, or theft.

Process sales transactions accurately, handle cash or digital payments responsibly, and track commission when applicable.

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace at all times.

Record customer preferences and formulas as required while maintaining confidentiality.

Handle customer questions, feedback, and complaints calmly and escalate as needed.

Participate in training to stay knowledgeable about fragrances, scent development, and brand standards.

Requirements

Age 16 or older.

Strong people skills and customer service orientation.

Ability to communicate clearly about fragrances, scent families, and product features.

Ability to handle cash, card readers, electronic payments, and basic sales tracking tools accurately.

Reliable transportation to and from work locations, including pop-up events.

Attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions for batching, labeling, and packaging.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderately heavy equipment.

Dependable, trustworthy, and able to work independently or in a team.

Willingness to participate in pre-employment background check and drug screening, and occasional random drug testing during employment.

Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding formulas, customer information, and company procedures.

Flexible availability, including weekends and special event schedules.

Willingness to receive compensation in the form of commissions

Preferred but not required:

Experience or interest in perfume, cosmetics, or fragrance-related work (strongly recommended).

Prior experience in retail, commission-based sales, or customer-facing roles.

High school diploma.

Previous experience in fragrance creation, sampling, or sensory evaluation.

Comfort guiding customers through custom scent development.
