Staff Engineer

We are currently seeking a Staff Engineer to be based out of our Pleasanton office. Miyamoto International is among the nation's fastest growing structural engineering companies. Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in structural engineering curricula or related field, Master's with emphasis on structure engineering desirable

Masters in Structural Engineering desirable

EIT/Fundamentals of Engineering certification desirable

0-3 years of relevant structural engineering experience; building design experience with OSHPD and DSA structures desirable; Intern experience and/or Cal Poly-Miyamoto SESH desirable

Basic structural analysis and design skills knowledge of steel, concrete, masonry, and timber

Advanced analysis with ETABS, SAP, and Ram Steel desirable

Strong analytical and communications skills; client relations/business development desirable

The salary range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00 per hour. Salary offers are determined using a variety of factors, including but not limited to: years of experience, education, depth of knowledge, geographic location, and equity with internal staff.
