Position overview

We are looking for a seasoned Backend Engineer to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing scalable, high-performance web applications, with a particular focus on enterprise application. You'll work in a deeply iterative, collaborative, fast-paced environment with a team that takes pride in their craft and enjoys building software that delights our customers.

Key responsibilities

Design and build efficient and reusable systems that drive complex applications

Plan and deploy infrastructure necessary to build, test, and deploy our products

Ensure the security and integrity of application data in compliance with industry standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Have at least 8 years of experience building production apps at scale

Experience of Software development in general purpose programming languages: Javascript, Typescript, Python, etc

Are comfortable building complex applications and systems from the ground up.

Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testing. Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) is a significant plus.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to tackle issues with innovative solutions.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and have a growth mindset.
