Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Tow Truck Operator to provide vehicle recovery, roadside assistance, and towing services. The Tow Truck Operator is responsible for safely transporting vehicles, assisting stranded motorists, and delivering excellent customer service while following all traffic laws and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Operate tow trucks and recovery vehicles safely and efficiently
Respond promptly to dispatch calls for towing, recovery, and roadside assistance
Load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles without damage
Perform roadside services such as jump starts, tire changes, lockouts, and fuel delivery
Conduct vehicle recovery in accident scenes and difficult conditions when required
Communicate clearly with dispatch, customers, and law enforcement
Complete required paperwork, logs, and digital reports accurately
Inspect tow truck before and after shifts; report maintenance or safety issues
Follow all DOT, state, and company safety regulations
Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude with customers
Qualifications & Requirements
Valid driver’s license (CDL may be required depending on vehicle type)
Clean or acceptable driving record
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Previous towing or commercial driving experience preferred
Knowledge of towing equipment and safety procedures
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts
Physically able to lift, bend, and work in various weather conditions

Pay Scale: Full-time base pay of $650/week, plus 30% commission on earnings over $650. Paid weekly via direct deposit.
