We are looking for a Data Engineer, located in Ukraine to join our international team.

Your Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy production-grade backend data solutions, from initial research and architecture through development, testing, and release.

Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Product Managers, Architects, and other R&D teams to deliver high-impact, business-driven solutions.

Own data pipelines and platforms in production, ensuring high availability, scalability, performance, and reliability.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows and systems in live environments.

Partner with Data Science teams to support advanced analytics, modeling, and experimentation.

Mandatory Skills

3+ years of hands-on experience building and operating Big Data solutions in production environments.

Strong experience with Big Data frameworks such as Apache Spark and/or Apache Flink.

Proven ability to write complex, efficient SQL queries.

Production-level experience developing Spark applications using Scala or Java.

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.

Fluent spoken and written English.

Would Be a Plus

Experience with Apache Airflow and AWS services (EMR, Glue, Athena).

Solid knowledge of Python and Linux environments.

Experience working with ClickHouse.

Familiarity with the Ad Tech ecosystem, including RTB (Real-Time Bidding).

Experience with functional programming, unit testing / TDD, and CI/CD pipelines.

Familiarity with Node.js.
