Lead Backend Engineer (Node.js, Game Tribe)

Role Overview

We are in search of a Lead Backend Engineer (Node.js) to enhance our Game Tribe. In this role, you will closely collaborate with the Head of Gamification and other engineers to develop and refine our game services. Your contributions will include:

Developing the slot game engine

Building microservices (e.g., fraud detection, release processes)

Conducting R&D on game mechanics, math packages, and new gameplay functionalities

Participating in hypothesis testing and rapid prototyping with a PoC-first mindset

To Succeed in the Role, You Will Have:

A degree in Computer Science or a related field

Over 5 years of strong development experience in Node.js/TypeScript

A solid understanding of asynchronous programming

Experience with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ

Experience in distributed systems

Proficiency with RDBMs (MySQL, PostgreSQL), CDBMs (Redshift, ClickHouse), and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB)

Experience in writing end-to-end and unit tests

Capability in developing production-ready solutions

It Would Be Beneficial to Know:

Understanding of enterprise development patterns

Experience with large-scale microservices architecture

Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, etc.)

Experience with Kubernetes

Active performance monitoring skills

Experience in the gambling domain

Knowledge of application security best practices and industry standards
