Senior Go Developer in DevOps

We are excited to invite a talented and dynamic Senior Go Developer specializing in DevOps to join our Platform Engineering team. In this key role, you will have the opportunity to architect, develop, and refine Go-based Kubernetes controllers and operators that will enhance our innovative GitOps-driven Kubernetes hosting platform. We are looking for someone who is passionate about automating infrastructure and platform operations, integrating with GitHub, and driving best practices in testing and observability. Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and sustain Kubernetes controllers and operators written in Go to improve our GitOps-based Kubernetes hosting platform.

Create automation services that leverage GitHub APIs to streamline workflows, enforce policies, and enhance the developer experience.

Develop and maintain user-friendly CLI tools to simplify platform interaction and boost productivity for developers.

Ensure policy compliance through API-level validation mechanisms that uphold security and governance standards.

Advocate for Shift Left and Shift Right testing methodologies by integrating static analysis, contract testing, and observability throughout the development lifecycle.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including platform engineers, developers, and security professionals, to establish and implement best practices.

Lead technical discussions and mentor junior engineers, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Monitor and enhance platform observability using tools such as Prometheus and OpenTelemetry to maintain reliability and performance.

Drive the establishment of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with Terraform, Azure DevOps, and Docker to automate infrastructure provisioning and application delivery.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve platform capabilities and enhance the developer experience.
