AirMed is Hiring for the Position of Fixed Wing Pilot.
Join our dedicated team and play a crucial role in providing exceptional air medical transport services. We are currently seeking a skilled Fixed Wing Pilot to operate our King Air 200 aircraft. This position offers a competitive annual salary range of $111,589.14 - $122,748.06 with opportunities for merit-based increases up to $156,224 as well as other generous incentives, including:
$15,000 Sign-On Bonus (upon successful completion of training and check ride)
$40,000 Retention Bonus (with a 6-month waiting period, in a 3-year program)
Up to $5,000 in Relocation Assistance
The Fixed Wing Pilot will be responsible for the following:
Serving as Pilot in Command (PIC) for flights in accordance with FAR Part 135 regulations.
Ensuring the safe conduct of all assigned flights and exercising operational control.
Supervising the functions of any assigned crew members during flight.
Meeting minimum qualifications set by Federal Aviation Regulation Part 135.243(b).
The role requires a rotating schedule of 7 days on followed by 7 days off, including 12-hour shifts while on duty at our base hangar in San Antonio, TX, where you can expect to launch within 30 minutes of trip notification. Shift assignments will be organized to facilitate adequate rest periods.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Residence or willingness to relocate to San Antonio, Texas.
Ability to hold BE-200PL21 and C-90 PIC Qualifications.
Single Pilot IFR experience preferred.
Previous medevac and/or cargo experience is desirable.
Unrestricted FAA ATP certificate eligibility.
Minimum of 2500 total airplane hours, with 500 multi-engine land hours, 1000 PIC airplane hours, and 100 hours in type.
Must obtain a First-Class Medical Certificate and maintain first-class privileges.
Valid US Passport required.
Preferred Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
The successful candidate will adhere to all duties outlined in AirMed International's general operating manual, prepare the aircraft for missions, ensure compliance with applicable FARs and operational specifications, and maintain professionalism always. You may be required to attend training and meetings outside regular shifts and assist with loading and moving patients as necessary.

Working Conditions: You will work in various weather conditions and may be required to adjust your schedule for night and overnight shifts. This hands-on role will require physical activity such as de-icing the plane and assisting with aircraft movements.
Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, balance, sit, crouch, kneel, or crawl unassisted for extended periods and assist with lifting/moving up to 150 pounds with support.
