Operations Process Engineer

The Opportunity
Our client is seeking an Operations Process Engineer to support a newly launched manufacturing operation focused on downstream processing and packaging. This role begins on a project/startup team and transitions into a key operational position once the facility is fully commissioned.
The engineer will play a hands-on role in process optimization, equipment validation, and performance improvement within a high-throughput manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
Support startup activities including design review, commissioning, and equipment validation
Optimize manufacturing processes related to finishing, packaging, and material handling
Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives focused on quality, yield, throughput, and cost
Analyze process data and develop control strategies and performance metrics
Serve as a technical resource to operations and leadership teams
Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Materials)
Experience in continuous-process or high-volume manufacturing (metals preferred)
Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills
Familiarity with control systems, instrumentation, and process modeling
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, startup-style manufacturing environment Ideal Traits
