Maintenance Technician

Our client. is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Williamsburg, VA & Beuford, SC) – Laundry to join our team. In this full-time position, the Maintenance Technician – Laundry will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as the physical features of laundry equipment, while ensuring a safe and friendly environment. Key responsibilities include:

- Completing service calls efficiently and courteously, contacting the laundry attendant within 5 minutes of request.

- Daily completion of assigned work orders and maintenance of boilers and pumps.

- Changing light bulbs and ballasts promptly.

- Performing preventive maintenance on laundry equipment and maintaining all maintenance records.

- Operating small hand tools and machinery safely and efficiently.

- Driving the laundry truck when needed.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of experience in a similar skilled trade, and proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to follow written instructions are essential.
