Custodial/Building/Grounds Maintenance

Supervisory Responsibilities: None Purpose: Responsible for cleaning of specific areas of the plant and performing building and grounds maintenance activities Essential Duties/Responsibilities: * Ensure a clean and safe work environment for self and others.

Follows all safety rules and regulations.

Demonstrate commitment to safety program.

* Cleaning of restrooms, office areas, lunchroom, and other common areas * Emptying of garbage containers and recycle bins as needed * Maintain inventory of cleaning, toiletry, and lunch room supplies * Empty, clean, refill mop buckets where applicable * Perform building and grounds repairs and upkeep as needed * Clean and maintain general shop area * Perform light carpentry and plumbing duties as needed * Empty garbage and pick-up cardboard on production floor as needed * Collect empty pallets, boxes and parts trays and relocate to designated areas where applicable * Assist with unloading and moving production equipment as needed * Promote a positive atmosphere.

Actively support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employees * Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned Minimum Requirements: Education & Experience: * High School diploma or equivalent preferred * Previous building/grounds experience preferred Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Valid and current MN driver's license * Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and procedures * Must be able to operate, walk-behind and riding, floor scrubbers and barnishers * Must be able to operate scissor lifts and forklifts * Must be able to perform duties without direct supervision * Basic knowledge of, or ability to learn, light carpentry and plumbing * Regular attendance Training: * Forklift, scissor lift, lawn equipment, snow removal equipment * Reference OJT Physical Demands * Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs., occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs., rarely lifting up to 70 lbs.

* Ability to stand for 100% of shift * Ability to do repetitive motions, i.e.

bending, twisting, walking, crouching * Ability to work at elevated heights * Ability to climb ladders * Ability to continuously operate a minimum of 3 hours * See Functional Job Description for complete demands
