Position Summary

The Sanitation Associate plays a mission-critical role in maintaining a safe, compliant, and production-ready facility. This role is responsible for executing daily sanitation activities that protect product quality, ensure regulatory compliance, and support uninterrupted operations. Simply put: no sanitation, no production-this role directly impacts our ability to deliver for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Execute daily, weekly, and periodic sanitation procedures for production equipment, workspaces, and common areas in accordance with established SOPs.

Clean and sanitize equipment, floors, walls, drains, and production surfaces using approved chemicals and tools.

Safely handle, mix, and apply cleaning chemicals following all safety guidelines and training.

Disassemble and reassemble equipment as required for thorough cleaning.

Complete required documentation accurately and in real time to support food safety, quality, and audit readiness.

Identify and escalate sanitation, safety, or equipment concerns to leadership proactively-see something, say something.

Maintain compliance with all GMPs, food safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies.

Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve sanitation efficiency and effectiveness.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams to ensure operational alignment. Skills & Competencies

Qualifications & Experience

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Prior sanitation experience in a manufacturing, food production, or warehouse environment strongly preferred (but we will train the right mindset).

Ability to follow detailed instructions, SOPs, and safety protocols without cutting corners.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment that requires attention to detail and physical stamina.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.

Willingness to work assigned shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
