Role Description
This full-time role as a Product Development Associate for Food Products is located in Payson, UT, with flexibility for occasional work-from-home arrangements. Responsibilities include formulating and testing new food products, co-developing customer recipes, and optimizing production processes. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, the associate will ensure compliance with quality and food safety regulations while conducting market research to identify trends and opportunities. Supporting documentation and communication with suppliers and clients will also be part of the role.
Qualifications
Experience in food research and development, recipe formulation, and new product design
Thirst for knowledge regarding latest research into metabolic health and functional foods
Understanding of food safety regulations, quality control, and compliance standards such as HACCP or FSMA
Proficiency in analyzing market trends, conducting research, and identifying customer preferences
Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Food Science, Culinary Arts, or a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-specific software tools is a plus
Passion for food innovation and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Strong work ethic, with a passion to satisfy the customer
