Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in Merrimack, NH that is seeking a Data Engineer.Responsibilities:
Deliver high quality, innovative and maintainable software solutions in an agile environment
Actively contribute to test automation and practices
Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills
Experience working with distributed teams
Understanding of fundamental data design principles and application design
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to quickly learn, adapt and thrive to meet the needs of a fast paced, changing environment
Performing application maintenance and ensure information security controls
Provide timely status updates, issue resolutions, and step-by-step instructions on usability questions
Collaborate with Product, Execution, and other support teams to resolve or escalate user inquiries
Based on support queue trends, make recommendations for innovation and automation to reduce volume Skills
B.S. in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience
6+ years of IT experience
Strong programming skills in SQL/Python/java
Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL/Oracle)
Experience in data pipelines ETL/ELT tools, control-M
Experience with Enterprise Data Lake e.g. Snowflake
Experience with GitHub
Good experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
Experience of Cloud technologies and automated deployments
Ability to communicate software engineering and/or development concepts and principles
Ability to take up new challenges and explore new technology/tools
Can collaborate well with the business, your team members, work independently, and influence your technology peers
Proficient in ability to identify and pull data from various applications and systems (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle, SQL Server)
Experience in performing complex data analysis and data aggregation
Troubleshooting and debugging skills
Strong analytical and logical skills
Ability to analyze trends and recommend improvements
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
