Are you mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and ready to take your career to the next level in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Join Green Bay Packaging as a Cutting Operator, where you'll play a key role in transforming raw materials into high-quality packaging solutions.
In this hands-on role, you’ll set up, operate, and maintain state-of-the-art die-cutting machines to cut, crease, and shape paperboard and other substrates. You’ll ensure precision, troubleshoot issues, and maintain production efficiency—all while contributing to a team that values safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Perform both off-press and on-press make-readies with accuracy and efficiency
Set up and operate die-cutting presses according to job specifications
Follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
Maintain equipment and report any mechanical issues promptly
Collaborate with team members & management to meet production goals and deadlines
Support a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Basic computer proficiency
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to work 3rd Shift (10pm–6am, Sun–Thurs), with occasional overtime/weekend work
Willing to complete up to 120 days of training on 1st Shift (6am–2pm, Mon–Fri)
Experience with automated die-cutting, stripping, and carton blanking systems is a plus—but not required
