Java Architect / Java Full Stack Developer with Node.js

Job Summary

The Java Architect / Java Full Stack Developer will be responsible for designing, architecting, and developing enterprise-level applications using Java and modern full-stack technologies.

This role combines hands-on development with architectural leadership, leveraging Java, Node.js, and modern front-end frameworks to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions.

The position involves defining technical standards, guiding development teams, and supporting end-to-end application delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance Java-based applications.

Define and enforce architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices for full-stack development.

Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Node.js.

Develop responsive and user-friendly frontend applications using frameworks such as Angular or React.

Translate business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans in collaboration with stakeholders.

Ensure application performance, security, reliability, and compliance with enterprise standards.

Provide technical leadership through code reviews, design guidance, and mentoring of development teams.

Integrate applications with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployments and operations.

Support troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in Java-based application development and architecture.

Strong expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.

Proficiency in Node.js for backend and server-side development.

Experience with frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Angular or React.

Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and service-oriented architectures.

Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, such as MySQL and MongoDB.

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical solutions clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Knowledge of security best practices for enterprise application development.

Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Certifications

Certifications in Java and/or cloud technologies are preferred.
