Maintenance Supervisor - Second Shift - RELOCATION OFFERED
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor for our second shift operations. The ideal candidate will oversee the maintenance department, ensuring that all equipment and machinery operate efficiently and safely in a food manufacturing environment. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of maintenance practices in the dairy industry.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the maintenance team during the second shift to ensure efficient operations.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
Implement preventive maintenance programs and ensure compliance with industry standards, including USDA regulations.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures, particularly in food processing and dairy applications.
Manage maintenance records and prepare reports on equipment performance and maintenance activities.
Train and mentor maintenance staff on best practices and safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.Qualifications
Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food or dairy industry.
Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems, PLCs, and automation technologies.
Familiarity with USDA regulations and safety standards in food processing.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to troubleshoot complex machinery and systems, particularly ammonia refrigeration systems.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
