Job Title: Cloud Engineer

Job Location: Columbus, OH (Onsite)

Job Pay Range: $62/hr - $74/hr

Job Contract Length: 6 Months (Contract-to-Hire)

**Key Responsibilities**

- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions with a focus on Microsoft Azure, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric.

- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform.

- Implement and manage cloud security configurations, ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.

- Oversee cloud storage, backup and recovery (BR/DR), networking, and server configurations.

- Establish and maintain observability and monitoring frameworks to ensure system reliability and performance.

- Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) and support broader cloud governance needs.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud adoption, optimization, and operational excellence.

**Qualifications**

- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with significant experience in Azure, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric.

- Overall 10--15 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, or related fields.

- Demonstrated experience with Terraform development and cloud security best practices.

- Strong knowledge of cloud networking, storage, BR/DR strategies, server configuration, observability, and IAM.

- Azure cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer) are preferred.
