Industrial Engineer - $85-95K + 15% Bonus – Automotive Components Mfg – Will be responsible for planning utilization of facilities, equipment, materials, and personnel to improve efficiency of operations. Establishes work measurement programs and analyzes work samples to develop standards for labor utilization. Analyzes work force utilization, facility layout, and operational data such as production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules, to determine efficient utilization of workers and equipment. Recommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing work flow, relocating work stations and equipment, and purchase of equipment. Confers with management and engineering staff to implement plans and recommendations. Develops management systems for cost analysis, financial planning, wage and salary administration, and job evaluation. Read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Studies functional statements, organization charts, and project information to determine functions and responsibilities of workers and work units and to identify areas of duplication.

BS degree in Industrial Engineering/Technology - Related work experience; experience in the automotive industry preferred. Minimum of 5+ years in Industrial Engineering. Packaging experience related to the Auto Industry is Major Plus but not required. Must have excellent problem solving skills. Statistical Process Control (SPC). CAD software (AutoCAD preferable). Continuous Improvement and Cost Savings projects. Production layout, reorganization, and optimization. High-volume manufacturing processes. Good analytical skills and experience applying problem solving techniques aimed at root cause corrective actions. Professional verbal and written communication skills essential. Must have highly developed organizational skills including the ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. Self-motivation & self-starting work habits preferred. Proven leadership, communication, organizational, and project management skills in an manufacturing environment. Strong team building skills is preferred. Application of lean tools, preferred. - PC Skills: Operating Systems (Windows 95/98/NT/XP), MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Database (Access, dBase), etc. Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
