Job Description*:

• Own the end-to-end data transformation process including data transformation, data models and data products.

• Design and drive delivery of comprehensive FAIR data models covering all necessary aspects of our data requirements within project scope.

• Ensure relational data models are sustainable, platform-agnostic and can be implemented in a range of cloud-based infrastructure. (e.g., Redshift, Databricks, etc.).

• Collaborate with IT stakeholders, Tech Leads, Data ops, data governance leads and the Architecture guild to align to existing standards for design, implementation and strategic initiatives.

• Support adaption of models based on real world examples, stakeholders feedback (SMEs, R&D IT) and data ingestion tests.

• 5 years’ experience as a Data Architect or Senior Data Modeler in large-scale data transformation or digitization projects.

• Strong hands-on knowledge of software design and data warehousing principles (e.g., Databricks, Unity catalog, PostgreSQL, Amazon Redshift).

• Solid understanding of solution and data architecture and data design patterns (including medallion architecture) and practical implementation within an AWS ecosystem.

• Expertise in data modelling best practices (normalization, de normalised strategies, referential integrity, indexing, etc.).

• Demonstrates curiosity with the ability to maintain a view across diverse initiatives and domains.

Ability to handle complexity and provide challenge in a dynamic and constantly evolving business environment.
