Key Performance Areas

Deliver high-quality and innovative teaching across under- and post-graduate programmes; design assessments that support student success; supervise and mentor research students, ensuring academic integrity and ethical practice; develop and/or review curriculum to maintain academic relevance and industry alignment; conduct individual and collaborative research, build a strong publication record, and pursue external funding opportunities. Foster a collaborative departmental environment and contribute to governance through active participation in relevant committees and support institutional quality assurance and strategic initiatives. Assist with student selection, registration, and provide advice to students in line with university policies; lead outreach and capacity-building initiatives with community and industry partners, and perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by superiors.
