Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Buffalo, NY (Onsite)

Work Schedule: 50-65 hours per week

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing and facility operations through effective maintenance, repair, and rebuild of mechanical systems. This role places a strong emphasis on pump systems and requires hands-on experience in welding, cutting, and mechanical troubleshooting. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment.

Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild various pump systems, including centrifugal, gear, and diaphragm pumps.

Execute welding and cutting tasks (MIG, TIG, and stick) for equipment repair and fabrication.

Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and conduct root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, health, and environmental standards.

Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and documentation.

Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and support operational efficiency.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.

Demonstrate flexibility to work 1st or 2nd shift and overtime as required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.

2-3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Strong knowledge of pump systems, including repair, rebuild, and troubleshooting.

Proficiency in welding and cutting techniques with a strong emphasis on safety.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Basic electrical knowledge is a plus.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
