Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Farm Supervisor will oversee daily farm operations and supervise farm workers. Main duties include:

Supervise, coordinate, and schedule farm workers

Oversee planting, cultivating, harvesting, and livestock feeding activities

Train workers on farm procedures, safety, and equipment use

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Maintain work schedules, production records, and inventory

Coordinate maintenance of farm machinery and tools

Assist with planning farm activities based on seasonal needs

Terms of Employment

Employment Type: Full-time, permanent

Hours: 35 hours per week

Work Setting: On-site farm environment

Wage

Hourly Wage: CAD $26.75 per hour

Overtime paid according to provincial employment standards

Benefits

Vacation pay in accordance with provincial labour standards

Skills Requirements

Education:

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Work Experience:

1–2 years of experience in farm operations or agricultural supervision

Supervisory experience is an asset

Additional Requirements:

Ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment

Knowledge of farm equipment and crop or livestock operations

Strong organizational and leadership skills

Good communication skills
