Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join one of our dedicated squads. Your expertise will be essential in developing innovative solutions where every millisecond counts. Our focus lies in:

Ensuring the highest availability

Aiming for minimal latency in all transaction processes

Maximizing resource efficiency

To excel in this role, you should have:

A degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Strong proficiency in PHP with a solid understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, MVC architectures, and design patterns.

Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.

Familiarity with web application frameworks such as Symfony or Laminas.

Strong development skills in Node.js/TypeScript.

A solid grasp of asynchronous programming techniques in both PHP and JavaScript.

Experience with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL), columnar (Redshift, ClickHouse), and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB).

Skills in developing and maintaining end-to-end and unit tests.

A proven track record of building production-ready solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with large-scale microservices architecture.

Familiarity with Apache Kafka.

Experience using GRPC.

Knowledge of cloud providers like AWS and GCP.

Understanding of Kubernetes.

Awareness of application security and industry best practices.

Your Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain robust backend systems for our promotional features.

Optimize existing systems to enhance performance and scalability.

Lead technical decisions and contribute to our SaaS solutions.

Collaborate with distributed teams to innovate and implement new features.

Ensure code quality and architectural excellence through code reviews.

Address complex technical challenges with innovative solutions.

Participate in on-call rotations to guarantee the reliability and availability of our systems.
