As a Speech-Language Pathologist at The Learning Spectrum, you will help students with autism and related special needs strengthen their communication, language, and social skills. You’ll collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of educators and therapists to create individualized treatment plans that empower each student to reach their full potential.
What You’ll Need
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current Ohio licensure in Speech Pathology
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, or actively working toward completion
Experience supporting students with autism or using Applied Behavior Analysis (preferred)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
What You’ll Do
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals
Collaborate with teachers, behavior analysts, and occupational therapists to support learning and communication
Provide therapy during school hours within an academic calendar schedule
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate progress with families and interdisciplinary teams
