Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute delectable, innovative dishes in line with the restaurant's culinary concept.

• Oversee the kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, presentation, and consistency meet high standards.

• Collaborate with the team to develop and refine menu offerings, incorporating seasonal and local ingredients.

• Manage inventory, ordering, and food costing to maintain profitability while minimizing waste.

• Train, mentor, and lead kitchen staff to ensure a cohesive and efficient working environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Chef in a reputable restaurant or culinary establishment.

• Proficiency in a wide range of cooking techniques and cuisines, with a focus on quality and creativity.

• Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a culinary team.

• Excellent knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.

Qualifications: to excel in this role, you should possess;

• Minimum 2-years proven experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen.

• Minimum Certificate in International or Commercial Cookery

• Experience in creating exquisite and authentic Japanese cuisines will be an added advantage.
